Dr. Ze’ev Ganor is a serial entrepreneur with 11 start-ups and over 38 years experience in senior management, R&D, international marketing & sales, and business development. In his entrepreneurial endeavors, Ze’ev has held various positions such as Chairman, CEO, Vice President, and a Board member in the fields of video processing & pattern recognition, telecommunication, therapeutics, medical devices, ultrasonic precision motors, semiconductor equipment, automaton, robotics, medical imaging equipment, and computers.

Pavel Zaslavsky is the General Manager of Lisuto Israel, a Japanese – Israeli start up, that develops global content AI solutions for ecommerce. In his previous positions Pavel Zaslavsky was the founder and manager of the global catalog operations at eBay and founder and manager of the catalog operations for <a href="http://shopping.com/">Shopping.com</a> in Europe. Pavel held adviser positions in a number of major ecommerce multinationals and teaches ecommerce at the MBA studies at the Israel Institute of Technology.

Dr. Ben-Avinoam joined the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences in 2013 as a Lecturer and has been teaching a verity of courses on Entrepreneurship. Dr. Ben-Avinoam is a Partner at Benhamou Global Ventures (BGV), an early-stage venture capital fund from the Silicon Valley. Prior to BGV Barak was an executive in several investment firms, including two of the leading Israeli incubators in the Incubator Program led by the Israeli Office of the Chief Scientist (now The Israel innovation Authority).

Saul Orbach is a highly accomplished Serial Entrepreneur, Venture Capitalist, Social Impact Investor, C-Suite Officer and Executive, Consultant, Lecturer, Thought Leader, Board Member, and Advisor, with over 34 years of extensive experience building and exiting startup and growth companies, turning around failing companies, as well as training the next generation of entrepreneurs. Saul is the Co-Founder and CEO of his 8th startup, NephFlo, Inc.,

Sara Lev leads the Start-Up MBA program at the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences, Technion—Israel Institute of Technology. She received her B.Sc. in Computer Science, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Business Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the Technion, and held a research fellow position at INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, France.

Mahmoud Qadan is Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Haifa. His research interests are in the areas of asset pricing, the microstructure of capital markets, financial econometrics, and behavioral finance. Dr. Qadan has also won prizes for his teaching and research.

Visiting Assistant Professor Yifat Aran joined the faculty in 2020. Yifat holds an LLB and LLM from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a JSM and JSD from Stanford University, where she was a Fellow in the Olin Program in Law and Economics and the Stanford Interdisciplinary Graduate Program (SIGF). Yifat is a commercial litigator and a former Israeli Supreme Court law clerk. Yifat also holds a faculty position at the University of Haifa Law School.

Dr. Yitzhak Kohavi received his M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the joint program of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and the University of Haifa (2005).

Assaf Avrahami holds BSc in mechanical and electrical engineering and an MBA in technology management and marketing. He holds a PhD degree in the area of industrial management and he is a Visiting Professor in the faculty of Data and Decision Sciences. Avrahami is currently the CEO of WIZSOFT-HASHAVSHEVET the leading ERP provider in ISRAEL.
